Microcip® - The ideal complement to our powerful UV disinfection products

enviolet presents a program for UV disinfection devices that excellently applies to the requirements of surface technology and which guarantees a lowering of microbiological levels in water circulations. However, not all system components can be reached by UV light such as pipes, nozzles etc. Hence, in some cases, an additional function is required, which can only be generated by chemicals.

Therefore enviolet has developed the chemical additive Microcip® which can be integrated into industrial streams without causing undesired reactions to occur between the process water and the product. An ideal and effective solution has been achieved through a combination of physical and chemical disinfection.

Advantages for the user:

  • Improvement of the water quality and also product quality
  • Low investment
  • Low running costs due to low concentration
  • Good interaction with other work materials
  • Immobilization of the organisms, i.e. the removal from tank- and pipe walls, so that the organisms can be filtered out and removed from the system.

Usage profile for Microcip®

Microcip® 2 has been specifically developed for surface technology in particular.

Applications in recycling systems of surface treatment technology

During the production of coated surfaces, printed circuit boards and highly decorative surfaces, germs such as fungi, algae or bacteria frequently produce faults in the coating. These faults can even lead to rejected produce. In connection with UV tank disinfection, Microcip® 1 and Microcip® chem can be used to prevent the formation of algae on rinsing tanks and ionic exchange resins.

Applications in cathodic dip-coating (KTL)

We have also been approved to use our product in the painting industry and in cathodic dip-coating (KTL), in particular. Microcip® 2's specific strength lies in the anodes (in the anolyte circuit) that are rinsed clean from the surfaces in connection with the combination of UV light.
