UV tank disinfection / Disinfection in Place

Enviolet specialises in intelligent systems for tank disinfection using Disinfection-in-Place (DIP) technology. Our Microfloat® and Microspear® systems can be flexibly adapted to almost any tank size, tank geometry and process configuration. This ensures that the UV radiation is directed precisely where it can be most effective – at the point where the liquid is stored. The growth of all types of microorganisms and biofilm is thus effectively prevented without the need for chemicals.
The principle is universally applicable and is particularly commonly used in:

UV oxidation of acid copper electrolytes

Using enviolet UV oxidation technology, the degradation products of organic additive systems (‘contaminating organics’) in acidic copper electrolytes used in printed circuit board manufacturing (especially in pulse plating processes) can be effectively removed. This enables the performance of the electrolyte to be maintained at a consistently high level, ensuring optimal throwing power and plating result.

The result is a virtually unlimited service life for the electrolyte, combined with lower operating costs, reduced environmental impact and a significant increase in operational efficiency.

Active ingredient (API) removal using enviolet AOP

Sustainability need not be a cost factor! As a sustainable alternative to cost- and CO₂-intensive disposal by incineration, enviolet implements Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOP) to remove active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) from wastewater – down to levels below relevant environmental target values such as the PNEC (Predicted No-Effect Concentration).

Whether antibiotics, hormones, cytostatic drugs or modern antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs): enviolet AOP technology enables the reliable and cost-effective degradation of even complex organic active pharmaceutical ingredients in pharmaceutical wastewater.
