      Company

      The enviolet GmbH has been producing high quality units since April 2012 in a new manufacturing process specially developed to supply the best and highly reliable products. 2016 and 2018 we expanded our capacities in Karlsruhe Factory:

      about 570 m² for project managment, administration, laboratory and clean-room

      about 1200 m² for production

      about 50% of our energy is produced by our cogeneration unit and PV

      This enables us to be more efficient while optimizing our services and protecting the environment already at the first stage of the manufacturing of your installation.

      In 2018 was opened our factory in China, operated by Gungzhou Enviolet Umweltechnology Ltd.

      In 2019 we have opened a third factory in Germany, owned and operated by a.c.k. aqua concept GmbH.

      UV-Oxidation - to safe our clima!

      We combine a state-of-the art UV technology with additional chemical, physical or biological process steps to create an innovative unit in wastewater treatment.

      UV oxidation processes are very sustainable and climate-friendly processes, particularly in the wastewater treatment of organic ingredients. With UV oxidation, problematic substances are actually removed and destroyed. The UV oxidation can transform toxic, mutagenic or poorly degradable substances in such a way that they are degraded, or they can be fed to an equally environmentally friendly biological oxidation. With these processes, organic ingredients are disposed of sustainably with a minimal CO2 footprint.

      Wastewater treatment processes such as evaporation or membrane technology that enrich a problem substance in a concentrate phase do not solve a problem. Often a lot of energy (= CO2) is expended for evaporation and the concentrate then goes to the incineration, where water is sent through a flame with the formation of an extremely large amount of CO2. Wastewater treatment cannot be less sustainable. The real solution is not far away and is usually much cheaper, because the conservation of resources is usually reflected in lower operating costs, you need less energy, less chemicals, fewer raw materials, ....

      enviolet stands for substancial and sustainable solution and not for relocating problems!

    Integrated UV disinfection 100% customized for the best results and a reliable production.

    The photo shows the disinfection of the three-step cascade of rinse after the TSAA-process with a chemical free and safe sanitation of rinses and recycling water. The in-situ UV disinfection is completely designed in accordance with process chemicals, drag-out and dimensions of rinses; special properties warrant the continuous production and the safe operation of the system.

    Infrastructure and production facilities

    We have been producing in our new production facilities since April 2012, and the office area was expanded in 2016 by stocking up the administration building.

    It includes:

    570 m² for project management, administration, laboratory and clean-room production

    1200 m² for production of AOP and tech-center


    In 2018 we are expanding the production area with another 450 m² net area.

    50% of our energy is produced by cogeneration and PV

    Our further productions are located in Northern Germany (operated by a.c.k. aqua concept) and Changsha (operated by Enviolet China).

  • Amoxicillin-Oxidation

    UV oxidation for detoxification of antibiotics

    For eleven years, the worldwide biggest plant for antibiotics (Asia) looked for a solution for their wastewater. A turn-key AOP-plant of enviolet has now solved this problem. The wastewater entering the UV installation is black like coffee and COD varies between 60 to 75 g/L. After the treatment, all API and the by-products are eliminated and the toxicity is completely removed by the Enviolet AOP. A biological system polishes the wastewater as final step to get the best OPEX.

    This advanced oxidation process - plant (AOP) reduces the daily amount of antibiotic substances introduced to the aquatic environment by 4.800 kg. The customer has received an environmental award for his enviolet AOP-plant.

  • Photo reactor for preparative photo chemistry (ATEX)

    enviolet supplies light reactors with ATEX approval for photochemical synthesis. The Synviolet reactor is suitable for operation with solvents as well as for operation in ATEX areas and is available in up to 4-layer versions.
    Each of the seals can be exposed to high pressure barrier medium. This enables food applications as well as applications in the pharmaceutical industry and in medical technology. The Synviolet reactor is suitable for use in high pressure synthesis as well as in high pressure oxidation.
    The reactor can be equipped with a hydrodynamically driven, rotating cleaning or mixing system.

    Suitable online analytics perfectly integrated into the UV oxidation along with further elements such as single concentrations, flow monitoring, etc. which continuously optimize the operation of the advanced oxidation process - unit (AOP) and bring it up to its highest performance level.

    Our customers can focus on their prior business; we just do preventive maintenance on our UV-plants and advanced oxidation technology, as all the rest is taken care of by instrumentation and our online support.
