History

enviolet GmbH was founded in 2012 by Dr.-Ing. Martin Sörensen and Dipl.-Ing. Jürgen Weckenmann from a.c.k. aqua concept GmbH. enviolet GmbH takes over the operational business of a.c.k. aqua concept GmbH for the end customer and its high-quality applications in the field of advanced oxidation, preparative photochemistry and UV disinfection.  a.c.k. aqua concept GmbH was founded in 1997 by Dr.-Ing. Martin Sörensen and Dipl.-Ing. Jürgen Weckenmann. The aim of the company is to develop high-performance UV reactors that are suitable for industrial use in advanced oxidation and preparative photochemistry. One year after the company was founded, the first reactors are in operation at satisfied customers, together with further process stages. The two entrepreneurs were surprised by the skeptical attitude of potential customers towards UV technology in the field of advanced oxidation. Too many manufacturers of UV systems had promised a lot and were unable to deliver, so that the market was permanently damaged. An English investor (3i Venture Capital) steps in and provides the capital for further development, marketing and growth. Ten years later, the investor leaves a.c.k. as planned and the company is once again in the sole hands of the founders. a.c.k. aqua concept is established, the products are used as the technical standard by many prestigious companies from A for Airbus to Z for ZF. a.c.k. is constantly developing new applications and still has many ideas to take the company, which now operates worldwide, further forward on its way to market leadership.
After the founding of Enviolet GmbH, a decade of continuous and stable growth and many successful projects followed. The company continues to establish itself as a major player, especially in the field of industrial wastewater treatment. In 2023, Dipl.-Ing. Jonas Becker joins the management of Enviolet GmbH as part of the upcoming generational change.

2023: Dipl.-Ing. Jonas Becker joins the management of Enviolet GmbH
